Safety on board

Unfortunately there are no standard regulations in Iceland regarding the quality of seat belts in buses, and thus many bus companies use unsafe or even weak belts, which can be a potential security hazard. We consider the safety of our passengers to be of great importance, so a majority of our buses have seat belts approved by the seat- or bus manufacturer.

We also consider it extremely important to follow rules regarding the bus driver's resting time, to prevent fatigue which can be very dangerous. You can help us follow the rules by submitting your travel plan to us in advance, so we can plan the trip with consideration to the driver.
